He sits
He waits.
Many walk by
Except one.
To touch cool, playful sands
To smell the salt of a new borne Summer.
To be included.
He alone, unaided
Makes the journey to a water’s edge
Life giving water
I see the legacy of a million lives in his eyes.
He makes it back
Transformed.
Connected to all of us and the universe
Invisible silence?
In visible light
In visible silence.
